本季全景音乐竞演综艺节目将带来全新的竞演模式，通过契合崇尚奋斗的时代主题，将音乐竞演和人生故事相结合。聚焦32位有着不同经历并且来自不同圈层的男性嘉宾，以新成员与初代成员的合作与竞争来展现「男人的滚烫故事」与「披荆斩棘」 ，最终建立「第二代滚烫唱演家族」。。影片以新中国第一位“特级英雄”杨根思为原型进行创作。讲述了抗美援朝期间，杨根思率领三连开拔长津湖，在下碣隅里外围小高岭，击退美军陆战一师8轮进攻，最终在弹药耗尽，血战至全排仅剩2名伤员的情况下，杨根思抱起最后的炸药包发起冲锋，用自己的生命保卫阵地的故事。。The whole intrigue is centered around carte-blanche documents kept in a vault. Whoever fills in the blank becomes the owner of a revue. Big money is involved. The nephew of the owner of the vault is trying to cheat his uncle and have his name in the documents.
