本剧讲述了1930年初的上海，各方势力风起云涌，社会动荡，宁波的富商之女丁易青（张婧仪饰）只身来到上海，在结识了地下工作者董红玉（曾黎饰）、林默生（牛骏峰饰）等人，众人在经历过1938年抗战爆发，1942年太平洋战争爆发之后，完成了上海底下隐蔽战线尤其是经济战线上的各项革命任务，一起为了理想中的那一天，燃烧自己的青春的故事。。Wassup Rockers is about a group of Salvadoran and Guatemalan teenagers in South Central Los Angeles who, instead of conforming to the hip hop culture of their gang infested neighborhood, wear tight pants, listen to punk rock,and ride skateboards.
